80% of my time I am spending building digital curriculum and tech integration pieces to support literacy k-12 in the Beaverton School District. Here are some of my projects that align with our curriculum work with Teacher's College Units of Study for reading and writing, as well as resources for conferring, book choice and interest, and soon our forward facing website as a resource for teachers, students and parents, on finding books based on peer recommendation and continuing to foster to love of reading in our district.

Most of the documents are meant for in district use only so the share settings are set to only allow BSD users access. Please contact me if you are also a Units of Study school I would love to share stories and ideas with you!

I believe that literacy is important to each and every single member of our society. If you are unable to read and write, then you will not have an easy life. I know lots of people who made a living without having that, but I know that it was not easy. Being literate is one of the most important things in life right now. I hope that no one has to go through life without being able to read and write.
