Whether you are asking your phone to remind you in 15 minutes to go pick up your students from recess or you setting up a shared calendar for your family there are plenty of tools you could be using to help elevate the mental load that comes with being a teacher, a mom, a household manager. Some of the following are my favorite tools.

Cozi Calendar

Click the image to the right to take you to the website. You can create a calendar that shares events with the whole family. Of course you can do the same with google but some families really like this.

IFTT

Stands for If This Than That, its a way to add codes to digitize a process or reminders. For instance I get an email reminder when we are going to get rain showers. I set it up years ago and it is still working! Literally tons of codes here for you to see, once you sign up they will just work in the background.

Echo by Alexa

If you are using Google Home device or an Amazon Alexa I love these things. I have them in most rooms in my house- did you know they can be used to announce things or even drop you in like an intercom from room to room? They are fantastic, we have become so used to them it is weird when we don't have access. I use them for quick timers, to check on a fact, or as a reminder tools of when to take the trash out. Love them.
