Organizing My Life- Bullet Journal

I have always liked having a hardbound journal near me to hold loose important papers and make my to do lists. They were never very organized and where honestly just another way for me keep track of my thoughts. For the last couple of years I had this nice one from Schoology. Then for some of the time last year I was using various digital options like Google Keep and just the sticky notes option on my Mac. It wasn't until over a very long winter break that I finally decided to jump onto the bullet journal train. I had been watching it over and over again show up in my Pinterest feed. I also like to art journal, so I think the art journal and bullet journal worlds were colliding on pinterest. My curiosity was peaked and I decided to dive in. It is the perfect marriage of all the things I already did in my life but in a more organized way.

What have I noticed after just a week? By tracking my habits I am already noticing an increase in blog posts, a cleaner kitchen, and more water intake just to name a few. I have already started to rely on the nightly routine of planning out my next day. Without it I feel  a bit out of sorts which really only happened this Sunday because I didn't think I needed to "plan it out."

Here are some of my favorite purchases so far to create what you see above.

I have some washi tape from previous activities, but you can find washi tape bundles on amazon as well. You can also find great stickers and banners at the Dollar Store! So check there too!
